Job Title: Experienced Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking experienced mechanical assemblers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with complex assemblies, cleanroom PPE, and working with chemicals in a controlled environment. This role involves assembling mechanical components and systems, particularly vacuum and pump systems, while adhering to safety protocols and cleanroom guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and systems in a cleanroom environment.

• Assemble vacuum and pump systems.

• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble products.

• Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Conduct assembly leak checks.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with cleanroom standards.

• Document assembly processes and results accurately.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve any assembly issues.

• Adhere to safety protocols and cleanroom guidelines at all times.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in mechanical assembly.

• Experience with vacuum and/or pump assembly.

• Ability to conduct leak checks.

• Familiarity with using hand and power tools.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Experience with inspection and testing of assemblies.

• Knowledge of cleanroom standards and procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.

• Electrical assembly skills are a plus.

• Strong documentation skills.

Work Environment

You will be working in a temperature-controlled facility within a cleanroom environment. The initial shift will be Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM during training. Post-training, you will transition to either the front half or back half of the week, with flexibility on shift preference. The front half shift is Sunday to Wednesday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and the back half shift is Wednesday to Saturday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
