    Job Title: Workforce Development Director

    Our company seeks a highly motivated and skilled Workforce Development Director to join our team. As the Workforce Development Director, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and supervising various workforce development programs. We are looking for a candidate who can wear many hats and is passionate about helping individuals achieve their career goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan, manage, and supervise workforce development program

    • Conduct community outreach to promote the workforce development program

    • Assist with pre-separation counseling and readiness for career transitions

    • Maintain accurate trainee records and ensure compliance with program requirements

    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure program success

    • Develop and implement strategies to improve program effectiveness

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in workforce development or a related field

    • Strong organizational and project management skills

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Knowledge of workforce development programs and regulations

    Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in work related area or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years work-related experience, one of which was in a supervisory capacity.

    Preferred: Minimum plus Previous Job Corps experience.

    Knowledge: Working knowledge of education and vocational training programs. Ability to effectively relate to disadvantaged youth. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to motivate and inspire staff. Excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of local labor market and ability to analyze labor market trends. Must obtain and maintain valid CPR/First Aid Certification. Must possess a valid State driver's license.

    Compensation details: 70000-80000 Yearly Salary
