As the Workday Talent Operations Lead, you will serve as a point of contact and a proficient knowledge resource for HR projects within the Workday Talent module including Performance, Learning Management, and SkillsCloud. This will include understanding the business requirements or areas for enhancement from your functional partners, partnering with the HRIT team for development, completing necessary testing of system modifications, and bringing your stakeholders with you along the way.
Daily you will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and testing solutions, troubleshooting, and finding systemic ways to resolve issues that impact data quality and integrity.
To thrive in this role you will enjoy building relationships while being the first person to establish the scope and strategy of supporting the functional partners in their Workday technical goals by utilizing your Workday experience, project management experience, and your knowledge and understanding of how technology and IT affects the HR function.
Responsibilities:
Partners with internal clients to detail and understand requirements; this may include, but are not limited to, business requirements, use cases / user stories, functional requirements, configuration requirements, data and reporting requirements, test case development.
Works proactively with partners to understand their strategic direction and how to support the execution of their strategies most effectively.
Leads and facilitates moderately sophisticated HR business projects involving Talent module and/or business processes to acquire business goals and operational objectives with oversight from the functional and management team.
Assists with assessing overall business problems, cross-functional collaboration needed, and operational risks. Participates in the development of mitigation plans.
Coordinates and facilitates working with cross-functional teams guiding them in development and delivery of work products.
Researches, analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves issues related to system modifications and/or data integrity. Analyze root cause of control inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
Supports stakeholders to find systemic ways to ensure data quality and integrity.
Partners with the HRIT to provide requirements and have them propose configuration recommendations.
Remains current on HR system and data practices to implement new insights and leverage system technology for operational effectiveness.
Manages Workday release enhancements to ensure technical and functional requirements are tested and adopted in a timely manner
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or similar field
5 years' experience working with HR systems and/or systems support with some Workday experience as well as 3 years' experience working in a position utilizing project management skills to include project management methodology; organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation; ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives.
Understanding of how technology and IT affects the HR function and ability to link to business processes.
Relevant experience working with Workday Talent module (specifically items like Performance Enablement, Talent Pipeline, SkillsCloud, Learning, Learning for Extended Exterprise), supporting the implementation and business as usual operation of the Workday product in a global organization.
Effective communication and change management skills with an ability to work virtually over multiple time zones and cultures.
Strong learning agility and ability to operate in a dynamic organization.
Teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with peers, team members, management; ability to be a team player, flexible, friendly, and enthusiastic.
Ability to be in non-hierarchical organization, operate under dual reporting relationship; and ability to thrive in an unstructured hands-on environment.
Experience in an organization that also utilizes Advanced Compensation is desirable.
Workday Pro Certification in Talent preferred.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $75,504.00 - $134,521.77 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
