    ECTL Office Aide

    DEPARTMENT INFORMATION:

    The Ellbogen Center for Teaching & Learning provides professional development opportunities and support to all UW personnel who serve in a teaching capacity to highlight best practices and improve pedagogy, course design and teaching and learning across UW. The ECTL Primarily serves UW instructors. This includes Faculty, Adjuncts, Temporary Lecturers, and Graduate Teaching Assistants.

    Job location: UW Campus - Coe Library, Laramie, WY

    Pay rate or range: $10.00 per hour

    JOB PURPOSE:

    This position assists our Office Associate and other team members with cleaning, office duties, data entry, research tasks, and special projects.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Light cleaning, making copies, setting up rooms for events, assisting with technology (zoom, webinars etc), managing supply room inventory, sorting and filing, basic data entry, upkeep of ECTL lending library; may assist with special projects and assist our divisions with more in-depth research, data collection and data entry.

    REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:

    This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus. However, scheduling is flexible and some remote work may be allowed depending on the needs of the center.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    Education
    High School Diploma or GED


    Experience
    None


    Other requirements: Must be eligible for work study and have RECEIVED AND ACCEPTED A WORK STUDY AWARD through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Experience in an office or customer service environment
    • Good organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to learn basic technological equipment with minimal training
    • Good communication skills
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Google Drive.
