Radial, the leader in omnichannel commerce technologies and operations has an exciting opening for a WMS Technical Architect. Radial's omnichannel solutions use cutting-edge technology and analytics to optimize the e-commerce end to end processes reducing costs for our customer while enhancing the consumer experience.  

Role Summary

The WMS Technical Architect will manage and support warehouse management system (WMS) enhancements, implementations, and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze existing applications' effectiveness and efficiency based on customer needs, and then develop technical strategies for improving or leveraging these systems focused on customer value now and in the future

• Establish engineering best practices and advocate for them in the context of operating an enterprise platform at scale both internally and externally to the team

• Work with teams across the organization to execute projects incorporating Radial's values Partner with non-technical teams and project managers to balance technical enhancements, technical debt, and new features

• Promote an inclusive team culture where engineers of diverse backgrounds can learn and grow

• Ensure that technical documentation i.e. configuration guides, and install guides are kept up-to-date.

• Proactively engage in the identification and remediation of software issues related to configuration, integration, solutions quality, security, and software usability or issues.

• Advocate and evangelize our technology solutions within and outside the wider organization.

• Support and mentor our junior or less experienced technologists on an ad-hoc basis.

• Continuously learn modern software design, development practices, utilizing articles, conferences, tech talks, etc.

• Review and discuss fulfillment technology with engineering peers and leaders to understand and/or propose best practices and optimal design patterns.

• Understand the business context of the larger domain and potentially other domain areas.

• Take initiatives to drive new ideas and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent - Computer and Information Science.

• 10+ years of hands-on design, configuration and implementation experience with Manhattan WMS, WMOS and Manhattan Active WMS.

• Hands-on experience with Manhattan Active WMS Proactive tool to build customer extensions.

• Design and implementation experience with any WES, WCS, and TMS systems.

• Able to configure and implement end-to-end Manhattan WM solutions for multitenant 3PL flows and review operations flow to help improvise operations with the improved process flows.

• Good understanding of and hands-on experience with Manhattan Integration Systems

• Hands-on experience with Manhattan CFD - Configuration Director Tool and with Manhattan Management Console

• Prior experience in migrating customers from a different product or from an older version of Manhattan to a new version of WMS Proficiency in Manhattan Tables, Columns, and Values

• Expertise in SQL (relational databases), key-value datastores, and document stores.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and comprehend technical details clearly.

• Able to demonstrate product demos to users and stakeholders, collect feedback and implement improvements.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with limited supervision.

Travel

This position is remote.

Will travel 30-40% with up to 5-7 days for onsite projects.
