Welder

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the production department supporting a dedicated team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Clayton, NC

Pay Range: $22 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform structural steel welding using MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques.

• Utilize oxygen acetylene torches and plasma arc equipment for cutting various thicknesses of steel.

• Work collaboratively with a team to complete structural parts and assemblies according to blueprints.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality systems.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment while reporting time accurately.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and assembly instructions.

• Experience with oxy acetylene cutting equipment and metalworking tools.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and work 10-hour days, including weekends as required.

• Valid Driver's License and successful completion of background check and drug screening.
