  • Summary:

    The Wearables Partnerships team is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced individual to help drive new product partnerships for emerging technology and new products. You'll be at the center of a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional team pushing on every aspect of bringing new wearable products to market. You will be responsible for leading partnership efforts across Smart Glasses and Wearables, and working closely with some of our most strategic partners. This work is very much zero to one and requires someone that is excited to jump into new environments and execute across ambiguity. This position requires high levels of creativity, strategic thinking, and troubleshooting as you will be leading deals that include a complex array of terms, while working cross-functionally with our Product, Engineering, Marketing and Legal teams to identify potential solutions. This is a global role with teams that span across the US and Europe. You will be required to travel both for external and internal meetings to support your partners and the team.

    Required Skills:

    Wearables Partnerships, Business Development Responsibilities:

    1. Manage large and complex partnerships to land deals for future products that enables Meta Reality Lab's future roadmap

    2. Define, negotiate, and close complex product, distribution, marketing, brand, and technology agreements with a large global partner and multiple other partners

    3. Drive complex deals to resolution through both internal and external communications

    4. Drive escalations to internal alignment

    5. Craft documents that frame a deal/partnership issue and drive to completion

    6. Represent Meta in meetings with executives, both internally and externally

    7. Span various product areas across Meta and strike deals that provide the best outcome across Meta

    8. Work cross-functionally with product management, product marketing, legal, finance, and engineering teams to negotiate deal terms and advocate internally on behalf of partners

    Minimum Qualifications:

    1. BA or BS Degree

    2. 15+ years of work experience in product/platform, partnership or technical experience in consumer technology and hardware focused companies

    3. 10+ years of partner facing experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. JD or MBA

    2. Experience working in an evolving and collaborative environment and working cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally

    3. Experience developing strong working relationships inside and outside Meta

    4. Technical knowledge and learning mindset

    Public Compensation:

    $189,000/year to $258,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
