    Summary

As the Ways to Work Program Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in helping low-to-moderate income individuals gain access to fair-interest vehicle loans, improving their financial stability, and moving toward greater self-sufficiency. You’ll serve as the local expert, guiding participants through the lending process, providing ongoing financial coaching, and connecting them with valuable community resources.     Success In This Role Looks Like:

    • Fostering Relationships:

      Build strong, trusting relationships with program participants by providing consistent, empathetic financial coaching and case management from the pre-screening process through loan pay-off.

    • Community Engagement:

      Actively

      participate

      in community events and collaborate with local partners to increase awareness of the program, driving new participant referrals and expanding the program’s impact.

    • Guiding Participants

      Clearly explain the program to potential participants,

      assist

      them in navigating the application and vehicle selection process, and offer support to those who are not loan-ready to prepare them for future opportunities.

    • Ensuring Success:

      Work closely with the Loan Team to support participants in

      maintaining

      their loans, managing crises, and overcoming obstacles, ensuring high rates of loan repayment and credit score improvement.

    • Providing Education:

      Lead educational workshops within the community, offering participants valuable insights into vehicle ownership, financial literacy, and other key topics. Collaborate with community partners to bring in guest speakers and build a network of resources.

    • Tracking Outcomes:

      Accurately document participant progress and success stories using

      appropriate software

      and helping to secure ongoing funding and support.

    • Collaborating with the Team:

      Work effectively within the statewide team to align on goals, share best practices, and contribute to the program's success.
