Location Description Northfield, Minn. is home to two Post Consumer Brands manufacturing plants, the Campbell Mill and Ames Mill, two distribution centers, and more than 750 team members. The Campbell Mill plant is 1 million square feet and is home to 7 manufacturing technologies to produce a wide variety of cereal products our customers know and love. Northfield is a town steeped in history, featuring two colleges and the original Ames Mill where the Malt-O-Meal Company got its start. Responsibilities We have two Warehouse Person positions openings. One is scheduled for Wed - Sat, 7:00pm-5:00am. The other is scheduled Sun - Wed, 7:00pm-5:00 am. The candidate selected for these openings must successfully complete a post-offer work screen within seven (7) calendar days of job offer (case-by-case scheduling complications notwithstanding). The work screen consists of tests including lifting, turning, twisting, stretching, visual recognition, etc. JOB DUTIES Safely & quickly receive and ship orders accurately and damage free to our internal and external customers Ensure that all company food safety and quality assurance procedures are followed and documented correctly at all times Verifies location, item, and count via WMS. Appraises orders for exceptions and handles appropriately as required to avoid re-work. Evaluates quality of a product making sure it is shippable and takes corrective action as required. Builds and optimizes the load to reduce damage and ensure ease of unloading at destination. Inserts/removes slip sheets, pallets and dunnage as required. Accurately completes appropriate documentation. Hand picking and stacking of partial pallets. Stretch wrap pallets. Inspect trailers and report findings via WMS to insure they meet Post Consumer Brands requirements. Perform daily lift truck inspections including light maintenance. Perform light facility repairs and assist maintenance department as directed. Receive and perform QA inspections on returned packaging, ingredients and finished goods from outside our control including returns from customer. Work in other facilities as needed including traveling out of state. Fills in for office staff as needed including supervisor, dispatcher and data entry. Demonstrates attention to detail and accurate scanning. Complies with all WMS procedures. Maintains pallet per labor-hour requirements. Works with outside contractor for PPA Actively participate in team meetings and training. Work safely within established company policies. Qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS Ability to drive a forklift and successful completion of forklift certification Must understand FIFO inventory methods and procedures Must be able to read, write and speak English and understand shipping/receiving documents Basic math skills are required Must work pre shift, post shift and off day hours as required Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Must be flexible, reliable and a quick learner Always look for the safest and most efficient way to increase your team's productivity Must have valid driver's license Must have high school diploma or GED Equivalent PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Requires repetitive gripping, pinching, lifting, carrying, pushing, scanning and pulling with weight ranges of 0-60 lbs. Repetitive twisting, bending, and reaching of upper and lower extremities. Sustained trunk twisting Occasional climbing and walking activities Requires repetitive use of hands and feet bilaterally to operate hand controls and foot pedals on forklift.
