Warehouse Forklift Operator 1st Shift

Overview:

PTO time effective immediately on date of hire

Pay Range: $20-23/hour

WORK HOURS

The warehouse worker will be responsible for

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Performs operation and safety checks on equipment before use.

• Familiarizes self with productive

  capacity

  of machines or loading schedule of shipping services to assure prompt delivery of required items to proper destination, so that equipment does not shut down.

• Removes empty skids and stacks skids in designated areas.

• Proceeds safely to assigned area to pull, load, and move merchandise and all documents specific to each type of merchandise.

• Completes cleaning duties at the end of designated

  shift.

• Completes safety check on equipment prior to usage including but not limited to battery, brakes, lift controls, and computer.

• Required to

  operate

  heavy machinery such as forklifts etc.

• Employees shall follow all GMP & Food safety

  requirements.

• Perform other duties as

  required

  or directed.

• Must be able to meet production standards of quota

  required

• Familiarity with warehouse and/or distribution facility.

• Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous job experience as a forklift operator preferred

• Experience in the distribution industry a plus

• Basic knowledge of computer functions on a keyboard

• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
