    Overview

    Companies are made of people! Our Sales Representatives represent Mexcor International in the marketplace as an ambassador of the Mexcor brand. This individual is passionate, innovative, and self-motivated with a business-oriented mindset with a laser focus on customer service. Our Sales Representative primary responsibilities are to visit the customer, have the right consultative sales approach, and increase sales revenue. Face-to-face consultative selling built on trusting relationships drives maximum value to our customer and supplier partners as well as to the Mexcor organization.

    To service and merchandise key chain liquor stores, grocery stores, and independent broad-market retailers. Responsibilities include servicing stores, occasional hot shot deliveries, and keeping company products fully stocked, well-marketed & merchandised, as well as maintaining and building existing relationships with customers and key accounts.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Hand select orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including non-temperature controlled, temperature controlled and bonded holding area.
    • Operate assigned handheld unit to create labels; correctly place labels on product.
    • Stack product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (for example: do not stack heavy on light product, labels must face out, etc.).
    • Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport product.
    • Stage selected pallets for loading on proper dock locations.
    • Follow Mexcor preferred work methods at all times, and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
    • Follow sanitation requirements in order to comply with policy set forth by the Company.
    • Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, handheld unit, and personal protective equipment. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and safely operate all mechanical equipment.
    • Frequently lift product that weighs 1-75 lbs, up to 100 lbs; frequently reach up to 72 inches; constantly bending and twisting while operating a pallet jack and/or forklift and retrieving items from lower shelf areas.
    • Shrink-wrap product on loading dock.
    • Attend all required company meetings and daily safety meetings.
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must be at least 21 years of age.

    • Professional with a positive attitude, great organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a highly competitive environment.

    • Ability to establish working relationships with accounts, both chain and broad market, in the territory as well as the determination to aggressively grow and expand territory.

    • Self-Motivated & Goal orientated with proven track record of achieving sales and profit goals, distribution objectives and creating positive relationships.

    • Possess a cell phone, dependable vehicle, valid driver license, proof of state registration and insurance and an acceptable driving record.

    • Must be open to working occasional weekend hours.

    • Ability to lift, push and pull several cases on a regular basis.

    Physical Requirements

    • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device
    • Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
    • May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs
