    Role Summary/Purpose:

    As a leader within the Client Development & Sales Governance organization, this role is responsible for leading the strategic ownership, developing and leading all Insights and Implementation activities across the entire Client Development and Sales Governance organization. Identifying and monitoring risk with a governance focus across all five of the commercial platforms and affinity bank. With a specific focus on designing, planning and delivery of insights and themes. The role requires strong program management coupled with cross functional influencing and team building skills. The role will drive activities across multiple functions, workstreams and teams toward the successful on-time completion of key strategic initiatives and run the engine programs. The role will provide program leadership, oversight and governance and will work successfully across all levels of the organization including program teams, sponsors, steering committees, and executive/senior leaders.

    The successful candidate for this role is a strong people leader, able to think both strategically and tactically, influence in a matrixed environment, and embrace a culture of change and innovation. A proven leader with strong communication skills and prior experience with control testing, monitoring and reporting. This role will have a high level of visibility across and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • This role is responsible for the strategic ownership, developing and leading all Insights and Implementation activities across the entire Client Development and Sales Governance organization.

    • Owns strategic support, creation, maintenance of models and frameworks. Inclusive of designs for activities and triggers across CD & Sales Governance processes.

    • Lead a team of professionals to deliver the system of record design strategy for the Merchant and Provider Performance Management model/framework and insights

    • Leader for all insight-related activities across the CD & Sales Governance Organization - including the Client Oversight Program, Enterprise Governance, Surveillance, and Sales Process Controls, and the Governance Integration and Transformation efforts.

    • Drive the creation of insights and client oversight enhancements across CD and Sales Governance - including the strategi design and delivery for the merchant and provider performance management process within the Client Oversight Program.

    • Partner with Analytics and other cross-functional teams on the development and maintenance of implementation activities, risk metrics and visualizations.

    • Provide implementation support and drive output related to program enhancements, transformational initiatives, and cross-pillar projects.

    • Develop and implement Platform reporting that highlights trends and risk across all Platforms for Client Teams and Platform Leaders, collaborating with Growth for a cross functional view for our client eco systems.

    • Accountable for the strategic design and leadership of the the team accountable for the delivery of key processes and governance required to maintain the client permutation database, refresh process, and drive activities that ensure the ongoing coordination of surveillance and change control activities impacting client permutation program.

    • Partner with business IT and Data analytic resources to develop, build and maintain the dashboards and metrics required for administration of any CD & Sales Governance programs

    • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of client eco systems functional, risk and/or process management experience in the financial services industry or in lieu of a Bachelor Degree, a minimum of 11 years of functional, risk and/or process management experience in the financial services industry

    • 5+ years of experience to include:

    • Experience with analytical, organizational, and decision-making responsibilities

    • Understanding of business systems and processes

    • Cross functional team leadership experience

    • Experience managing solution delivery through Agile framework

    • 2+ years of experience to include:

    • Experience working in Governance, Regulatory, Audit, or Risk Management

    • Ownership and/or accountability for L3/L2 process

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Masters Business Administration.

    • Prior CI/CD, Sales or Marketing experience

    • Has previously worked on organizational transformation

    • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, action oriented

    • Employs a collaborative skill set with demonstrated ability to influence outcomes in a cross-functional, matrix organization, strong negotiating skills

    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

    • Proven ability to work independently yet as key member and contributor to a broader team

    • Strong interpersonal and persuasive communications skills applicable with all levels within the organization

    • Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team toward a common goal

    • Good understanding of credit, payments, and digital marketing in retail settings

    • Strong communicator and Clear thinker who can seek out and identify key data themes and distill the findings into actionable strategies, tactics, and solutions

    • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented

    Grade/Level: 14

    The salary range for this position is 150,000.00 - 250,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

    Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

    Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • You must be 18 years or older

    • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

    • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

    • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

    • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
