    Team Overview

    The Marketing Services team supports multiple business units at GAF and a number of affiliated businesses, supporting multiple brands and product categories through innovative marketing solutions including branding, marketing campaign development, and tactical execution.

    Summary

    The Video Producer plays an important role within the GAF media team, managing both in-studio and field production while also contributing to project conceptualization. Whether working independently or in collaboration with clients, creative teams, and stakeholders, they devise strategies, craft scripts, and oversee the media production process, including planning, filming and editing, to ensure alignment with project objectives. Leveraging their creative vision and technical expertise, they are instrumental in enhancing brand awareness and driving engagement through captivating visual storytelling.

    Essential Duties

    Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Coordinate and manage media production meetings and shoots: Collaborate with the Media Production manager and marketing managers to plan, schedule and manage media production activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

    • Technical oversight of production: Supervise the technical planning and execution of media productions, including photo and video shoots, to maintain quality standards and meet project requirements.

    • Collaborate with creative teams, writers, and clients: Work closely with the creative team and clients to understand project requirements and provide direction for media production activities.

    • Liaison and coordination: Act as a liaison between marketing managers, vendors, and production crew to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of materials, while also obtaining necessary authorizations and releases.

    • Reporting and documentation: Generate weekly audits and progress reports for ongoing and upcoming media productions, maintain detailed notes from production meetings, and compile production "playbooks" with essential information for studio and field productions.

    • Traveling to and working from remote locations 15-25% of the time

    • Bachelor's Degree

    • 2+ Years experience producing content for marketing, advertising or television

    • A Team player who is well organized and punctual

    • The ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and responsibilities

    • Impeccable communication and client management skills

    • Willingness to learn and perform basic media production tasks and assist department with any and all department responsibilities

    • Traveling to and working from remote locations 15-25% of the time

    • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and perform tasks independently while collaborating with multiple groups and individuals.
