Responsibilities :
Strategy and Vision: Develop a vision and product roadmap for data and AI as a service based on a deep understanding of internal customers' needs. Develop the product strategy, define and prioritize features, manage stakeholder expectations, and estimate resource requirements and timelines. Evaluate vendors and build/buy options.
Leadership: Articulate the vision for product management, build consensus, inspire action to achieve outcomes, and evangelize best practices in product management. Develop credibility and trust with leaders by demonstrating expertise, aligning around shared goals, and acting as a thought partner. Influence a wide range of senior leaders inside and outside of PennDnA.
Product Design & Development: Design and develop products - through building, buying, or adapting existing applications - to achieve specific outcomes based on customer feedback and business objectives with consideration for market trends, integration into customer workflows, and the user experience. Monitor product efficacy, utilization, and customer feedback to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
Customer Engagement: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs for quality, patient experience, finance, operations, market strategy, value-based care, and research data. Apply that knowledge to prioritize projects, design solutions, and drive execution.
Team Management: Build and develop a high-performing product management team, ensuring optimal performance, skill development, and growth. Create a positive culture that encourages collaboration and fosters innovation. Attract and retain top talent. Develop new leaders. Help others to find purpose amid uncertainty.
Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, design, and operations to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget. Track progress against goals and adjust course, as needed.
Initiative: Take ownership of hands-on product management work, acting as an individual contributor, when necessary, to ensure the successful development and implementation of data and analytics products.
Innovation: Drive innovation and excellence across the organization, continuously seeking ways to enhance the use of data for informed decision-making. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in healthcare data analytics, incorporating relevant advancements into product strategies and roadmaps.
Education or Equivalent Experience :
Bachelor's Degree is required.
Master's Degree is preferred.
10+ years' experience in healthcare, preferably with hospital and ambulatory operations, clinical informatics, and healthcare administration is required.
5+ years of experience of leading product management organizations, delivering measurable ROI, and successfully scaling implementation of products is required.
