  • The Vice President of Fixed Operations (RV Service, Parts & Warranty) is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team that hires, develops, leads and mentors the Regional & Market fixed operations leadership teams. This position plans, directs and oversees the organization's operational policies, objectives, and initiatives in alignment with the Executive Leadership Team. The Vice President's work will result in optimized operations and identification and implementation of cost effective systems and solutions to meet the current and evolving needs of the organization, as well as developing innovative new revenue streams within the service, parts, and warranty business

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.

    Develops strategies and deploys tactics to attain short and long term financial and operational goals.

    Establishes and executes organizational strategies, implements operational processes to meet the needs of the business, produces sustainable growth, and minimizes risk.

    Hires, develops, leads and mentors the Fixed Operations organization.

    Evaluates operational performance results against organizational goals and ensures operational leadership and their teams have access & understand relevant reporting on metrics.

    Identifies, recommends, and implements process, technology, and system enhancements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

    Develops operating budgets and ensures that all decisions such as expense management, staffing, and training and development within the Fixed Operations organization align.

    Develop processes and workflow and messaging for the field, ensuring that all communications to the practices are understandable, accurate and consistent.

    Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the Executive Leadership Team.

    Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in fixed operations.

    Ensures compliance with standards and regulations.

    Innovates new revenue streams within the service function (e.g., same day service, mobile technician revenue, parts portal, etc.)

    Performs other related duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or another related field preferred

    At least 15 years of service and parts experience including 5 years in upper management/relevant leadership role preferred.

    Excellent verbal and written communication that is clear, well organized and demonstrates an understanding of the audience.

    Ability to work collaboratively

    Strong ability to drive results, operate in an agile manner with a sense of urgency

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

    Excellent project planning skills with ability to work on several projects simultaneously

    Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in fixed operations

    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to sit at a desk, type and visually use a computer for prolonged periods of time.

    Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and at times with short notice.

    May be required to lift up to 20 pounds and operate office equipment.

    General Compensation Disclosure

    The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range is listed below. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus in addition to the base salary.

    Pay Range:

    $182,900.00-$274,325.00 Annual
