  • Summary:

    The Reality Labs Developer Ecosystem team plays a critical role in connecting Virtual Reality developers with consumers looking for innovative and immersive experiences. As the popularity of the Meta's Quest platform continues to grow, we are seeking motivated individuals to join our team and help scale our app review operations. This includes establishing and managing relationships with vendors and suppliers around the world to ensure high-quality content review processes at scale. In this role, you will have the opportunity to define standard operating procedures and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain consistently high standards for VR content. Join us at the forefront of digital content distribution and help shape the future of virtual ~~~ this position, the Vendor Operations Lead will interface with internal teams such as Content, Policy, Legal, Comms, Marketing, and Engineering, as well as with external vendors. A successful candidate for this role will have experience defining large-scale processes, launching new pipelines of content and scaling teams via external vendor support.

    Required Skills:

    Vendor Operations Lead Responsibilities

    1. Create comprehensive product documentation and training materials to prepare vendors and internal teams for new product rollouts, ensuring seamless scalability.

    2. Manage change within existing queues, assessing impact and ensuring minimal disruption to workflows.

    3. Serve as a subject matter expert on workflows within your domain, providing guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.

    4. Ensure vendor teams comply with Meta security requirements, best practices, and KPIs, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

    5. Proactively identify trends and developments ahead of new features, proposing relevant policy updates to stakeholders and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

    6. Mentor members of the Content Review Operations and vendor operations teams, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

    7. Act as the primary point of contact for difficult and urgent escalations, leveraging deep expertise to resolve complex issues.

    8. Identify process, policy, and tooling gaps, proposing and implementing solutions in collaboration with Engineering, Policy, and Legal teams.

    9. Promote robust employee wellness practices across all delivery centers, prioritizing the physical and mental health of our vendors and internal teams.

    10. Travel up to 30% to visit delivery centers and build relationships with key stakeholders.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications

    1. 3+ years of relevant experience in vendor management or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering scalable solutions and driving process improvements.

    2. Effective communication skills, including the experience to clearly document complex issues and build consensus around a course of action, leveraging proven interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.

    3. Proven experience as a developer advocate or similar role, demonstrating empathy and understanding of app developers' challenges and providing guidance to help them succeed.

    4. Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all aspects of work, from documentation to execution.

    1. BA/BS degree in a relevant field highly preferred, such as Business Administration, Operations Management, or Computer Science.

    2. Significant experience working in the technology industry, particularly in app review or trust and safety scaled operations, with a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.

    Public Compensation:

    $129,000/year to $185,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
