Job Description

Join our team as a VDC Engineer to participate in the advanced field of Virtual Design and Construction. In this role, you will be tasked with performing a variety of tasks related to the design and layout of electrical systems for electrical construction using various BIM-related software. You will prepare detailed system layouts, work collaboratively with project managers and other trade contractors to create clash-free BIM models, manage drawing sets, and assist with the creation of pre-fabrication drawings. This role is crucial in maintaining the 3D Revit BIM model setup, coordinating BIM models with contract documents, and updating as-built and revised models based on field adjustments.

This is a fully on-site position in Southfield, Michigan.

Work Environment

Our team consists of 45 dedicated employees based in Southfield, with an additional 3 team members in Ann Arbor. We value teamwork and often enjoy team lunches on Fridays.
