    Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Multi-Family Procurement Manager on VC25B (Next-Generation Air Force One) to lead major supplier strategy, negotiations, contracting, and product deliveries. This role will collaborate across the VC25B IPTs and functions to ensure Supply Chain engagement, effectiveness, and support.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Formulation of Supply Chain operational plans and objectives, including metrics to monitor supplier performance and progress

    • Develops and implement plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements/deadlines are achieved

    • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and having the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements

    • Manages employees and First Line Managers from multiple teams performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes, and supplier diversity

    • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

    • Presents to the customer in program reviews.

    • Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools

    • Conveys organizational messages to facilitate the accomplishment of goals

    • Develops and implements appropriate corrective action plans

    • Forge supply chain partnerships, and guide efforts to develop business solutions to maximize supplier performance while minimizing cost

    • Manages, develops and motivates employees, frontline leaders, and senior\mid-level managers, foster a climate that unleashes individual and organizational talent working together with the highest ethical standards

    • Advance and demonstrate commitment to employee and work place safety

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio, Texas.

    Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Experience with project management

    • More than 5 years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

    • More than 5 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

    • More than 3 years of experience leading a team or program

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor's degree or higher

    • More than 10 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management.

    • More than 10 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

    Summary pay range: $153,850 - $190,050
