Value Stream Manager, Quick Ship

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Lead and drive improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing principles, optimizing efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing overall productivity across operations

• Direct management of salaried employees

• Leading all aspects of inventory management to ensure efficient stock levels

• Master Scheduling and Production Planning

• Providing outstanding customer service and support

• Managing projects from inception to completion

• Build and implement tactical plans to achieve business requirements

• Coordinate and connect with all levels of the organization, including formal and informal presentations

• Develop partnerships with departments within and outside of the plant.

• Determine the skill gaps of subordinates by developing training programs, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining resource alignment

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelors Degree in relevant field, preferred

• 7+ experience in functional and/or operational business roles.

• Demonstrated strong leadership skills, with the ability to encourage, mentor, and guide teams toward achieving individual and organizational goals.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, enabling effective decision-making and problem-solving under stress.

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred, with a strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and operational efficiency.

• Technical problem-solving skills

• ISO 9002 experience desired

• Experience working in a union environment preferred

• Supervisory Requirements: Work Environment / Conditions: Must spend considerable time on shop floor and follow all safety rules

• Physical Demands: Ability to move throughout office and shop floor areas including climbing stairs.
