The Work
Are you a utilities (gas or electric) industry practitioner with experience in data, analytics, and AI? Do you love solving hard problems using data? Are you passionate about driving innovation in the utilities industry using data science? Then join our Utilities Data & AI team as a Utilities Decision Science Manager. In this role, you will use your utilities industry expertise to design and implement AI based decision-making frameworks and models to drive insights for decision making to solve business challenges for our clients.
Important: Travel for this position will range from 0-100%.
Here's what you need
Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, math, or a similar degree field.
A minimum of 5 years' professional work experience in Data, Analytics, AI, or GenAI within the Utilities industry (or equivalent)
Knowledgeable in the utilities industry
Proven skills in Data Engineering, Data Science & Machine Learning, Generative AI , Cloud ( AWS or Azure), SQL, Python , Viz Tool (Power BI or Tableau)
Bonus Points
Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Data Governance, and Data Architecture
Management consulting / professional services experience
Professional Qualifications
Executive presence with proven ability to engage with senior executives.
Ability to speak with clients, both business and technology stakeholders, to synthesize the problem and find actionable insights using data to solve the problem.
Strong problem solving and storytelling skills.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
