    Day in the Life of a University Recruiter

    We are looking for curious, adaptable, and self-driven individuals with a passion to innovate. Bring your experience and ideas to help us ensure the growth of our company by supporting the manufacturing and creation of our aircraft. No matter where you are in the company you are critical to the success of Bell.

    The University Recruiter will partner with Talent Acquisition and various internal departments to assist in planning and executing the strategy for campus recruiting and relations for the Company's internship and full-time hiring programs as well as other functional recruiting support. This role is responsible for consistency in approach and ensuring Bell's employment brand and image is elevated on campus and elsewhere in the pipeline. Additionally, the University Recruiter will help build and maintain strong relationships with both universities and students and will help oversee the company's entry-level diversity hiring initiatives.

    Responsibilities may include

    • Participate in full cycle recruiting responsibilities for assigned client groups, primarily during the fall recruitment cycle and throughout the year as needed.

    • Partner with the University Relations stakeholders to assist in college recruiting activities in support of the company's Talent Strategy.

    • Influence, maintain and reinforce consistency in the Bell employment and product brand throughout the Intern and UR cycle.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with targeted universities, candidates, affinity groups and professional organizations.

    • Organize, attend, and lead campus recruiting events and conduct interviews as needed.

    • Assist with the coordination of on-site activities and Bell led initiatives, including the annual Summer Intern Program.

    • Maintain standardized metrics for core, common and critical processes. Track ROI (conversion, retention, diversity, etc.) from campus recruiting efforts and leverage data to meet recruiting goals and implement different strategies.

    • Assist with all placement and onboarding related pre-employment activities.

    • Avoid legal challenges by understanding and enforcing regulations related to fair recruitment practices (Complies with all federal, state, and company policies and procedures such as OFCCP, EEO, ADA, FLSA)

    Travel requirement

    • Up to 50% travel required during the fall recruitment season

    • Up to 10%-25% travel required in the spring/summer

    Qualifications

    What You Will Need to be Successful

    • Bachelor's degree required. Human Resources, Marketing, Business, Communications, or other related field.

    • 2-4 years of professional experience in recruiting or strategic relationship-building, customer-focused roles

    • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and previous recruiting experience, particularly in Engineering skillsets, highly desirable.

    • Bias for customer service - proactive communication to customers and team members and strong collaboration and influencing skills.

    • Superior attention to detail and accuracy with excellent organizational, project and time management skills.

    • Knowledge of college markets and campus recruiting strategies, including digital media.

    • Ability to use discretion in dealing with confidential information.

    • Must work independently with minimal guidance and manage workload/priorities as appropriate.
