This position requires a dynamic, highly motivated individual to join the US Education Strategy, Demand Generation and Enablement team as an Event Coordinator. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for developing a cohesive approach to engaging customers in education industry including the creation and execution of company-led events, industry events, conferences, and trade shows to support the education sales. This role requires a strategic thinker who can leverage data to plan impactful events, manage event logistics end-to-end, and track outcomes. The Event Coordinator will work closely with the field sales team, Product Marketing, and other partners to ensure events run smoothly and achieve their objectives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in delivering high impact events and a solid understanding of the Higher Education and K-12 industry. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the education sales team's success by creating and executing events that drive engagement, lead generation, and sales.     Description

    Event Strategy and Planning: - Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with the education sales team's goals. - Lead a team to use data analytics to identify the most impactful events and optimize event planning. - Define and establish new types of events that can drive sales and engagement in the education sector. - Develop thoughtful invite strategies based on data to target the right audience for each event. - Collaborate with senior leadership to gain buy-in and ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Event Management: - Plan and execute company-led events, industry conferences, trade shows, and other types of events from start to finish. - Manage a team to drive all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, on-site coordination, and post-event follow-up. - Develop and manage the event budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and improving return on investment. Collaboration and Coordination: - Work closely with the field sales team to identify event opportunities and integrate events into the sales strategy. - Partner with product marketing to ensure the alignment of event content with product messaging and market needs. - Coordinate with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver successful events. Data-Driven Decision Making: - Use data to inform event planning, execution, and post-event analysis. - Track and report on event metrics, including attendance, engagement, lead generation, and return on investment. - Utilize multiple systems to develop result reports for senior leaders. - Continuously analyze event outcomes to improve future event strategies.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or a related field.

    • Typically 5 years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in the education or technology sectors.

    • Proven track record of managing successful events, including trade shows and conferences, from end-to-end.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

    • Experience managing event budgets and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

    • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,100 and $173,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
