TS/SCI SR Software Engineer - Mission Management

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire Java Software Engineer's to join our team in either Austin, TX or Chantilly, VA We aim to rapidly enhance a govt customer's tactical operations by developing advanced shipboard intelligence and warfare systems using open-architecture software and electromagnetic spectrum expertise to facilitate rapid and informed decisions.

-Collaborate in the design and implementation of distributed server-based infrastructure as well as modern web-based applications.

-Collaborate with hardware or software designers/engineers and analysts to develop, analyze, and evaluate hardware, software, and systems.

-Evaluate emerging technologies to determine advantages and disadvantages of potential solutions in virtual, web-based, and desktop applications.

-Work with the development and testing team to devise quality and performance related metrics and continuous testing systems.

-Contribute to the ongoing improvement of DevOps related practices and culture

Skills and Requirements

- Active TS/SCI Clearance

- Bachelors or Master Degree in STEM or Applicable Discipline

- 7+ years of Software Engineering/Development experience with Java

- Git, Git Lab or Git Hub experience.

- Working knowledge or experience with front end development

- Experience with Merge/Pull Requests and Code Reviews

- Experience debugging and/or troubleshooting code - Experience within a Gov Cloud environment - AWS/Azure

• Experience deploying with/into microservices such as Kubernetes or Docker

• Experience developing RestAPI null
