The Medium Truck Driver will perform daily round trips to pick up and deliver varying numbers of packages.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate medium-sized cargo truck

• Complete round trip mail pickup service within expected time frame, achieving a 99.75% on-time delivery rate

• Interface with DoS and USPS employees and/or contractors to complete mail pickup and delivery

• Comply with all security regulations and procedures

• Maintain cleanliness of truck, to include daily mopping of cargo bay and clean-up of cab area

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required

• Valid driver's license

• State verification of safe driving record

• Public Trust required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to lift 70 pounds

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to resolve issues in satisfactory manner
