Traveling Electrician

Responsibilities for this Traveling Electrician job include

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine layout of wiring and equipment

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems

• Perform electrical work in accordance with local, state and national electrical codes/regulations

• Use hand tools and power tools to install and connect wiring, switches, and other electrical components

• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems for proper operation and safety, make necessary repairs/replacements

Qualifications

• Requires 20 plus years electrician experience

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints

• Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems

• Familiar with the National Electrical Code (NEC)

• History of strong leadership

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Ability to travel out of state

• Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English

• MUST be able to pass background check, physical and drug test

• Electrical degree, diploma or certification a plus

• Documentation of any state Journeyman's Electrical License

Pay Details: $48.00 to $72.00 per hour
