Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a skilled English-to-French Translator to support a prominent banking client by translating essential internal documents. These materials are key resources used by various teams, particularly tellers, and play a critical role in daily operations. The ideal candidate is an experienced, detail-oriented, native French speaking translator who is comfortable working with computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools in a hybrid/remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate internal documents from English to French, ensuring high accuracy and consistency with banking terminology and guidelines.

• Review and refine translations to maintain clarity, accuracy, and alignment with corporate communication standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that translated documents meet operational requirements and effectively support end-users.

• Utilize memoQ or similar CAT tools to streamline the translation process and maintain translation memory for consistency.

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience as a Translator, with a focus on English-to-French translations.

• Native French speaker, with excellent command of English.

• Bachelors Degree in Translation or 10+ years of experience with reputable organizations

• Proficiency in a computer-assisted translation (CAT) tool, with a preference for memoQ.

• Tech savvy and willingness to learn new technologies

• Strong communication experience and go-getter mentality - Experience with HTML Scripting for HTML documents

• Previous banking experience

• Translation certifications null
