    M Health Fairview is seeking a Translations Program Manager! This is a full time opportunity that offers 80 hours over a 2-week pay period- and is benefit eligible!

    Summary: The Translations Program Manager is an integral part of developing and implementing a seamless experience for our patients and employees where they can communicate and understand information in their preferred language and feel welcomed and included by the system. This role will oversee the day-to-day duties of executing system translations. This includes the management of the intake process used by employees to request translated content, working with the translation vendor to complete translation requests, and with stakeholders to support communications and access to translated content systemwide.

    Job Expectations:

    System Program Manager for Translations:

    • Manages all aspects of translation program, including intake, stakeholder communication, monitoring and timely processing of translation requests, quality control and improvement.

    • Effectively communicates with internal stakeholders, vendors, and colleagues to ensure high quality translated materials.

    • Respond in a timely and professional manner to inquiries concerning translations

    • Oversee procurement and management of contracted vendors for the Translations Services Program.

    • Monitor and coordinate the assignment of vendors to fulfill requested translation services including print, digital, audio, and video translations

    • Design, support, and implement translation services' systems and protocols as integral functions of the organization and department operations, programs, services, and activities.

    • Must have knowledge of translating content into multiple languages

    • Ability to cohesively report outcomes across projects, set realistic goals and timelines

    • Demonstrates exceptional attention to details and deadlines

    • Acts as the appropriate point of contact for systemwide translation

    • Understanding of basic inventory and project management methods

    • Document required information and data accurately and in a timely manner

    • Partner with potential interdisciplinary teams to improve provision of care

    • Basic understanding and familiarity with top languages spoken in Minnesota

    • Highly organized, attention to detail and self-motivated

    • Travel to multiple locations and settings across the organization when needed

    • Demonstrate personal flexibility to meet employee and patient communication needs.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications to Fulfill Job Responsibilities:

    Required

    Education

    • Associates in English, Cultural Linguistics/translation related studies, Communications, or another related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Experience

    • Minimum of 1 year experience in project/program management

    • Knowledgeable and experienced in program management methodologies and change management

    • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and navigate diverse perspectives

    • Familiarity and experience with Adobe InDesign, Basic Healthcare literacy understanding

    • Proven experience working in or with large organization operations and communication

    • Proven experience managing translations within a complex environment

    License/Certification/Registration

    Preferred

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in linguistic/translation field

    Experience

    • Background in linguistics editing

    • Familiarity with translation and language industries

    • Familiarity with EPIC, and SmartWorks, and MyChart

    License/Certification/Registration

    • ATA accredited
