    We are expanding our Trade Operations Team within the Consumer Brands Business and are looking to hire several Trade Operations Managers. These managers will lead the development, execution, and analysis of trade strategies, working closely with Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Sales, and Marketing teams to optimize trade spend, drive profitability, and ensure alignment with company objectives. The ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, expertise in trade spend management, and the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build a "bottoms-up" annual trade budget in coordination with RGM and ensure alignment with broader company objectives.

    • Oversee trade fund allocation and targets, ensuring alignment with customer and organizational goals.

    • Lead the reconciliation of trade funds and conduct post-promotion ROI analysis to identify improvement opportunities.

    • Continuously monitor performance to ensure volume and revenue goals are achieved within defined trade spending parameters.

    • Track, analyze, and deliver insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support net revenue and profit delivery.

    • Co-lead timelines and deliverables in collaboration with sales planning for annual and quarterly trade plans.

    • Support the development and execution of customized trade reporting to inform business decisions and initiatives.

    • Develop trade strategies and tactics that improve return on investment (ROI) at a customer level.

    • Use data-driven insights to enhance trade efficiency and profitability.

    • Develop analytical tools, skills, and processes to keep pace with the evolving trade spend management landscape.

    • Leverage findings to inform and improve trade investment strategies.

    • Provide sales and trade expertise to support the creation of customer and broker programs, ensuring alignment across sales and marketing teams.

    • Ensure trade plans are effectively executed to meet organizational goals.

    • Facilitate ad hoc projects and manage incremental funding requests to support business growth.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, revenue growth management or sales planning

    • Experience interpreting data and deliver actionable insights.

    • Experience in trade spend management systems and tools, with advanced Excel skills required; experience with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • MBA and 8+ years of experience in trade marketing, revenue growth management or sales planning.

    • Experience in FMCG, CPG, or a similar industry is highly desirable.

    • Telus (Trade Promotion Management) tool experience is a plus.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    The base salary range for this position is $91,000 - $151,000 annually with eligibility for a 15% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The salary range represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
