As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains, and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world's energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.

    Job Summary:

    The Tooling Operations Manager III drives operational excellence across multiple regions, ensuring seamless tooling operations that contribute to increased efficiency and cost savings. Oversees critical tooling functions, identifies and eliminates inefficiencies, and champions continuous improvement initiatives.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Oversee regional tooling equipment tracking, manage tooling transfers between centers, and ensure alignment between inventory and financial records for optimal resource utilization

    • Guarantee on-time domestic freight cost billing and ensure appropriate rental rates for all tools to improve billing metrics

    • Implement and refine the rekitting process from the ERP ETM system, supporting regional leadership on S&OP analysis to identify and address demand-capacity gaps

    • Eliminate duplicate equipment entries and maintain accurate data for informed decision-making

    • Spearhead the CTSI and Global Tooling Integration Project, driving successful implementation for improved efficiency

    • Lead the adoption of the Auto Tooling Assigner and Tooling Planning using Gantt charts, streamlining the tooling allocation process

    • Lead the regional Operations Control Tower, fostering a collaborative environment to effectively monitor and control regional tooling demand

    • Work closely with Tooling Center leaders to ensure adherence to the rekitting production plan, guaranteeing on-time project completion

    • Collaborate with regional leadership to establish a comprehensive inventory strategy that guarantees designated locations for each equipment piece within the system and the tooling centers

    • Travel may be required

    • Manage and develop employees

    Required Qualifications & Experience :

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as engineering, business administration, or supply chain management

    • 10+ years of combined experience in one or more of the following areas: operations, manufacturing, supply chain management, warehouse management, quality control, lean manufacturing principles, field service operations, engineering, product management, or project/program management

    • 8+ years of proven leadership experience in a global tooling or similar environment.

    • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English

    • Familiarity with power generation field operations and services, particularly GE power equipment (gas turbine, steam turbine, generator)

    • Strong understanding of business principles and a focus on driving efficiency and standardization for improved outcomes

    Compensation and Benefits:

    The annual salary range for this position is $101,700 to $167,700. This is an exempt from overtime position. FieldCore benefits include insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), retirement savings, health and Wellness reimbursement, and a bonus or incentive program. Eligibility for FieldCore benefits is determined under the terms of the applicable benefits plan.
