PeopleReady of Osceola, WI is now hiring Tool And Die Operators! Skilled job involving the maintenance, repairs and changing over of dies, jigs, fixtures, etc. Candidates will perform bench or machine operations to construct, alter and repair dies/jigs/fixtures or special tools. Two-year trade school/program or equivalent is desired and encouraged.

Pay Rate

The pay rate for this job is $20 / Hour

What you'll be doing as a Tool And Die Operator:

• Troubleshoot die problems on the manufacturing floor as they arise.

• Lays out and performs bench and machine operations to construct, alter and repair dies/jigs/fixtures or special tools.

• Performs necessary identification and inventory paperwork.

• Supports engineering needs in the design, fabrication, installation, modification and repair of tooling and fixtures.

• Consistently keeps all tools and tool room in an organized manner.

• Asses' new tools and makes revisions if needed.

• Make tool reports of finished tools.

Shift timings - 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements

• Physical requirements include the ability to bend, twist, stoop, and reach and lift up to 50lbs.

• Ability to work on your feet for 10hr shifts and complete assigned tasks on schedule.

• Background in mathematics, mechanical drawing and machine shop practices.

• Requires successful completion of clients Forklift Certification/Indoor Crane Training and Safe Lifting Operations Training.

• Previous experience or formal apprenticeship program required. 

• Background check and drug screening required
