    This position exists to review Motor Vehicle registration and title documents for statutory compliance, review accuracy of moneys paid, and to enter the information into the computer files.

    Minimum Qualifications

    1. Skill in data entry sufficient to receive and review source documents, compare documents to database information, edit documents; maintain accurate records and reports.

    2. Ability to explain the reasons for transactions, procedures, rules, and regulations so that others understand the information they are being given.

    3. The ability to communicate with others in a variety of formats via email and phone interactions with both internal and external customers.

    4. Ability to use Microsoft Office products or equivalent software sufficient to create, format and apply the basic fundamentals of word documents and spreadsheets.

    5. Math skills sufficient to do basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).

    6. Database management skills sufficient to enter and retrieve data.

    Preferred Qualifications

    1. Previous motor vehicle title and registration experience, or other experience in a regulatory environment.

    2. Demonstrated ability to be well organized and to prioritize tasks.

    3. Demonstrated ability to work independently, to follow up on activities with little supervision, and to meet deadlines.

    4. Graduate of one of the following public sector training programs: Project for Pride in Living, HIRED, Goodwill Easter Seals, TwinCities Rise, Takoda, Hmong American Partnership, CLUES or similar Department of Employment and Economic Development(DEED) sponsored workforce development programs.

    5. The ability to work cooperatively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and underserved communities.

    Physical Requirements

    Requires occasionally moving and transporting such articles as file folders and small tools. May need to maintain a stationary position for long periods of time while carrying out job duties.
