Title Clerk

Description

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Title Clerk to assist with the processing of important documents and transactions. The Title Clerk will be responsible for preparing tax and title documents, verifying the accuracy of legal documents and keeping track of all necessary items for registration and licensing purposes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process documentation related to vehicle titles by following certain procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Submit all legal transfer documents to the local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

• Record and maintain all important documents, correspondence, and transactions in a systematic and organized manner.

• Investigate and resolve any transactional discrepancies and perform necessary actions to correct them.

• Work cooperatively with team members and maintain open communication with partners, state agencies, and clients to ensure efficient processing.

• Communicate with customers, contemporaries, and staff members in a professional, pleasant, and courteous manner.

• Maintain knowledge of changing procedures, rules, or laws pertinent to title processing.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Proven work experience as a Title Clerk or relevant role preferred.

• Familiarity with DMV laws and regulations or equivalent.

• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
