Time & Billing Clerk

Description We are offering a contract for a Time & Billing Clerk role in the tax industry, located in Houston, Texas, United States. This role involves providing legal support to attorneys, managing billing processes, and handling government filings.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing processes for attorneys using specialized software

• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track attorney hours

• Provide support to multiple attorneys as needed

• Handle the preparation and e-filing of tax and government forms

• Ensure the accuracy of all billing activities and records

• Regularly monitor and update customer accounts

• Efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain an organized system for managing legal billing records

• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to billing

• Assure compliance with Canada Revenue Agency Tax Form requirements. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Time & Billing Clerk or in a similar role

• Proficient in Billing and Legal Billing procedures

• Extensive experience with Billing Software for Attorneys

• Knowledge and understanding of Canada Revenue Agency Tax Form and other Tax Forms

• Experience in Government Filings and related procedures

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
