    Texas Veterans Land Board Administrator JOB SUMMARY:

    Responsible for administering the Texas Veterans Land Board program from Loan Registration to Purchase. Analyze various loan documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. Serve as the primary contact for Participants and respond to questions regarding Program guidelines. Prepare and distribute various reports to Participants.

    Texas Veterans Land Board Administrator ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):

    • Analyzes program documents to ensure loans meet Texas Veterans Land Board compliance guidelines.
    • Ensures data integrity for mortgage loan files from registration to purchase as Program Administrator on behalf of the Texas Veterans Land Board Administrator.
    • Serves as the subject matter expert on the Texas Veterans Land Board program and assists Primary Participants in the program.
    • Serves as liaison between Participants and the Texas Veterans Land Board.
    • Prepares and delivers various reports.
    • Performs pipeline maintenance on aged loans to ensure timely purchase and sale.
    • Creates and distributes lender communications on the Texas Veterans Land Board.
    • Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.
    • Performs related responsibilities as special projects are required or assigned.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

    • Thorough knowledge of Texas Veterans Land Board program and processes related to the Administrator role.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills; ability to learn quickly and solve poorly defined problems.
    • Proficient in MS Office Applications.
    • Strong customer service with a can-do attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple problems and multi-task with outstanding organizational skills.
    • Ability to make decisions in an independent and consistent manner.
    • Ability to effectively exchange information, present ideas, report facts and other information in a clear and concise manner.

    Equivalent Education/Experience

    • Associates Degree or equivalent business-related experience.
    • 2 -4 years of experience in Mortgage, preferably, Processing or Post Closing or in Mortgage Support Team or Technical position that supports Enterprise availability.
