    Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

    CARS is glad to be supporting the Foundation Sustainment Services (FS2) contract that will establish the acquisition framework for delivering the full scope of information technology services and capabilities to support the Information Technology (IT) sustainment services for the Foundation GEOINT Integrated Program Office (IPF) and the FG capabilities/services in support of the NGA's Source Operations & Management Directorate's Foundation GEOINT Group (SF).

    The Test and Evaluation Engineer analyzes system requirements and concepts of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide visibility into progress and impediments

    • Support the development of government test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test & Evaluation Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports

    • Work with other test organizations to support T&E program integration

    • Provide specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance areas

    • Execute test plans and procedures, confirm results of automated tests

    • Training new hires on automated testing and VDI setup

    • Design and implement automated testing tools when possible; update tools as needed to ensure currency and accuracy

    • Manage customer communications, i.e., Customer Boards and visits to the customer site

    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience OR

    • Master's degree with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience

    • TS/SCI clearance required

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Ability to work and produce results on an independent basis

    • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting

    • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment

    • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals

    • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others

    • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications

    • Experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues

    • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone with good phone skills and a professional demeanor

    • Previous customer service experience strongly desired

    • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it
