    The Territory Manager, Mass Spectrometry Sales, is responsible for the sale of SCIEX Mass Spectrometry (MS) products within a designated territory, driving revenue and order growth by following up on existing customers, new customer acquisitions, cross-selling to existing customers, competitive conversions and working with distribution channels where possible for increased sales.     The Territory Manager, Mass Spectrometry Sales, will be part of the SCIEX Commercial Organization; covering Quebec, Ottawa, and Atlantic Canada. The Role will report into the District Sales Manager within a highly dynamic team of Territory Managers, while also partnering with colleagues and the Advanced Workflow Specialist.

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales.

    • Use sales tools and CRM to manage funnel, leads, and achieve business targets, with regular weekly updates. Prospect for new customers/opportunities.

    • Work in a team selling environment to navigate sales situations across multiple departments within SCIEX and with sales personnel from other Danaher OpCos.

    • Use standard account planning tools to guide own work and solve routine sales problems.

    • Exhibit strong account management skills and provide effective customer presentations and business proposals.

    The essential requirements of the job include

    • Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences or similar subject area.

    • Current experience in direct scientific capital equipment sales for 3+ years. Prior experience and success in LCMS sales is preferred.

    • Understanding of our product portfolio and can explain technical products and service information.

    • Has the ability to communicate our value proposition to customers; and can interpret customer's needs and identify solutions.

    • Must live within assigned territory with ability to travel to customer sites within territory and work remotely from home office. Preference to reside in Montreal or surrounding area.

    Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

    • Ability to travel - up to 50% travel within territory. Occasional overnight travel depending upon location within territory, with additional extended overnight travel outside of territory, for internal meetings and conferences.

    • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

    It would be a plus if you also possess experience in

    • Bilingual: French/English

    • Experience and understanding of the Canadian Government and Academic tender process.

    • Demonstrating strong initiative and willingness to take ownership for results, with outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills.

    • Able to build and sustain strong relationships internal and externally.
