  • Our client, a leader in the financial technology sector, is seeking a Teradata Data Engineer/Developer to join their team. As a Teradata Data Engineer/Developer, you will be part of the development team supporting critical financial crimes technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

    Job Title: Teradata Data Engineer/Developer

    Understanding of AML, Financial Crimes, and compliance monitoring is absolutely required

    Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)

    Pay Range: $65-67/hr W2

    (Due to client rules, Experis is unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors; all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly)

    What's the Job?

    • Develop complex requirements and enhance applications in the Financial Crimes technology domain.

    • Design, code, test, debug, and document programs while supporting application maintenance activities.

    • Collaborate closely with business partners to define system application requirements.

    • Contribute to story refinement and estimate work necessary for delivery lifecycle.

    • Set up and automate continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.

    What's Needed?

    • 10+ years of applicable experience in software development.

    • Proficiency in Teradata 16.x, SQL/BTEQ scripting, and Informatica 10.x.

    • Experience with UNIX Shell scripting and Cloudera CDP, Hadoop (Hive, Impala, PySpark, Scala).

    • Strong data sourcing, data modeling, and provisioning skills.

    • Effective communication and collaboration skills with business stakeholders.
