    Job Description:

    What You'll Do :

    The Telehealth Installer is responsible for scheduling and installing telehealth equipment into patient homes, and for the removal and troubleshooting of telehealth equipment. Instructs the patient and/or caregiver on the use of the equipment and ensures understanding. Cleans, disinfects, and maintains inventory of all equipment components.

    More Specifically :

    • Deliver service in a prompt, courteous, responsive, caring manner that meets department standards.

    • Effectively communicate with customers to address needs and problems as they arise.

    • Adhere to all documentation protocols for telehealth software and EMR which includes direct data entry and visit encounters via electronic documentation.

    • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.

    • Collaborate effectively with others to achieve positive work outcomes.

    • Demonstrate flexibility in the face of changes in the work environment and adjust work schedule accordingly.

    • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all telehealth equipment and the ability to teach patients/caregivers regarding the use of installed equipment.

    • Work in a manner that promotes safe conditions and minimizes hazards in the work environment that may adversely affect the safety and health of self and others.

    • Follow Safety/Infection Control policies, and uses personal protective equipment as necessary.

    • Report incidents, accidents, and hazards as per policy.

    What You'll Need :

    • High School Diploma; Associate's Degree or college classes welcomed

    • Experience working with elderly populations is preferred.

    • Must have a strong level of comfort in providing services in patient homes. Previous home healthcare experience is preferred.

    • Must have or be willing to attain an active American Health Association BLS.

    • Strong organizational and problem solving skills.

    • Strong customer service skills.

    • Strong attention to detail.

    • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

    • Basic computer skills.
