    Looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Allen, TX.     Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate for this position will have a merchant services/and or a payment industry background with experience in proven problem-solving and solid analytical skills. Use of their interpersonal skills to communicate with customers to provide solutions to their merchant services problems quickly and professionally. Pay rate $22-$24/hour depending on experience. This position is in office 100% Wednesday through Friday, and will have the ability to work remotely on Monday and Tuesday.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with multiple departments and vendors to ensure a smooth activation and continued support for merchants.

    • Answer 40+ calls per day

    • Make 40+ outbound calls per day

    • Review files to ensure proper set up and installation and support.

    • Deploy and install new equipment and reprogram existing equipment.

    • Create POS VAR sheets

    • Provide excellent customer service and technical support to both merchants and sales agents.

    Qualifications

    • Degree from two-year college, or technical school.

    • 1-3 yrs of merchant services and/or payment industry experience

    • 1-2 yrs technical/customer support experience

    • Experience troubleshooting issues and achieving solutions

    • The ability to explain to a non-technical person in a way they will understand

    • Willingness and flexibility to work varying schedule which does include after hours support

    • Fluent in English and Spanish a plus
