  • Position Overview

    We are looking to add a Technical Support Analyst to our team in Lisle!

    As a Technical Support Analyst in the Professional Track, work is accomplished through independent contributions or project work requiring advanced subject area knowledge and decision-making skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature by responding to customer product inquiries via telephone or in written internet-based email or chat sessions.

    • Resolves customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters.

    • Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily customer-centric activities.

    • Troubleshoots problems with malfunctioning electrical, mechanical, software and wireless vehicle systems and recommends corrective action.

    • Documents customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree

    • At least 2 years of field service engineering, automotive service or truck service experience

    OR

    • Master's degree

    OR

    • At least 4 years of field service engineering, automotive service or truck service experience

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

    • Works under limited supervision, typically receiving general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments, and a moderate level of guidance and direction.
