  • Minimum qualifications

    • Experience in software development and with the software development life-cycle (SDLC).

    Preferred qualifications

    • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

    • Experience working with large language models or machine learning operations.

    • Experience working with generative AI.

    • Experience launching features to consumers through front-end software development or back-end platform development.

    • Experience collaborating with and influencing stakeholders across various functions and sites with little authority.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

    In this role you will play a role in building the user experience, working across a diverse range of components in the Gemini stack, including Front-end, Serving, Safety, Mobile, Extensions, Integrations, and more. You'll collaborate with teams across Google, including Search, Trust and Safety, Cloud, Assistant, and Responsible AI.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     • Lead and drive progress across critical feature launches in Gemini.

    • Partner with product management and engineering leads to understand product direction and ensure execution matches.

    • Manage dependencies across work-streams, functions, and organizations.

    • Drive and lead engineering teams to identify, prioritize, and track tasks to completion goals.

    • Identify risks and corresponding mitigation plans, and put solutions into motion.
