Tax Sr. - Corporate

Description

We are in search of a Tax Sr. - Corporate to join our oil field services client here in Houston, Texas. As a Tax Sr. - Corporate, you will have a crucial role in maintaining tax records, assisting with local, state, and federal returns, compiling tax research and providing analysis of tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and manage all tax records and reports

• Render assistance in filing Local, State, and Federal returns

• Establish and maintain communication with external tax advisors

• Conduct analysis of tax regulations and ensure local compliance requirements are met

• Utilize skills in Federal Taxes, Multi-state Tax Returns, and Tax - Sales & Use

Requirements - Possess a minimum of two years of experience in the field of corporate tax.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Federal Taxes.

• Experience with Multi-state Tax Returns is required.

• Proficiency in handling Tax - Sales & Use.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in using tax software and other related computer applications.

• Knowledge of current tax laws and regulations in the manufacturing industry.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is preferred.

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

• Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and changes in tax laws.

• Proven record of ethical conduct and integrity.

• Willingness to participate in continuous professional development activities.
