Tax Manager - Indirect Tax ( Hybrid )

Description

Hybrid 2 days a week on site - Indirect Tax Manager - 8 days a month in office for multi billion dollar international company. Great benefits , time off and quality of life. Working with a business leadership to identify best ways to handle tax liabilities and work with international tax team to create best practices You will be overseeing indirect tax and interacting with leadership on best practices for new transactions. You are not responsible for the hands on tax filings

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax reporting, planning, and accounting operations of the North America division

• Collaboration and communication with leadership on new deals and how to support them on correct tax handling.

• Oversee the processing of business licenses and indirect tax returns

• Manage exemption certifications and indirect taxes

• implement Vertex Vat tax

• responsible for compliance and control, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards

• Collaborate with external audit firms for audit procedures and respond to audit inquires
