Tax Manager

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Manager in the Greater Hartford area. The Tax Manager will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment in the CPA industry. The role involves a variety of responsibilities including preparation and review of tax returns, and involvement in tax planning and research projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the preparation of tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.

• Conduct thorough reviews of tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Engage in special tax planning and research projects as required.

• Use CCH ProSystem fx - Tax Compliance in the processing of tax-related tasks.

• Monitor and manage corporate and commodity tax matters.

• Handle individual and partnership tax issues with due diligence and professionalism

Requirements - Proficient in CCH ProSystem fx for Tax Compliance

• Demonstrated expertise in Corporate Tax

• Solid understanding and experience with Commodity Tax

• Proficiency in Individual Tax matters

• Experience and knowledge in Partnership Tax
