  • Dollar Tree's Talent Acquisition Team is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support scheduling and coordination for our interview processes. This role will be based at our HQ office located in Chesapeake, VA.

    The Talent Acquisition Coordinator responsibilities include providing administrative assistance to the recruiting team, Human Resources Executives, and maintaining databases with candidate information. You will work with the executive administration team, the travel team, and the relocation team to ensure a world-class experience for every candidate. This will include scheduling, travel arrangements, and escorting candidates around the campus while on site.

    You will also ensure all vendor payments are completed for payment and budget tracking purposes. Ultimately, you will help keep our hiring process smooth and ensure we attract and engage high-performing future employees.

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with Talent Acquisition team members

    • Review/screen applications

    • Organize candidates' data (e.g., resumes, assignments and contact details) in internal databases

    • Perform background and reference checks

    • Coordinate interviews and contact applicants, as needed (in-person, video, phone)

    • Assist with new hire onboarding (e.g., preparing necessary paperwork and completing I9 documents)

    • Assist with preparing new hire baskets and folders

    • Prepare job offer letters

    • Invoice payment and tracking

    • Budget Planning

    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements and skills

    • 1-3 yrs. Work experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, Office Coordinator or similar role

    • Experience supporting and interfacing with leadership teams or executives within an enterprise organization

    • Experience with MS Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive

    • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems

    • Ability to work autonomously

    • Excellent organizational skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
