Systems Administrator and Project Manager

Amro Music is seeking an organized and knowledgeable Computer Services Project Manager to oversee our computer systems and manage computer-related projects at Amro Music in Memphis, Tennessee.

The ideal candidate will be driven to get projects done, helpful in troubleshooting issues with co-workers, and have some knowledge of computers and networking. As the computer services manager, you will ensure that our systems are running efficiently, look for technology efficiencies within our processes, and coordinate with third-party programmers and vendors to ensure these efficiencies are realized within our computer systems. The primary goal is to equip your fellow team members with the tools they need to succeed.

Pay for this position includes an hourly rate plus commissions based on sales volume. Benefits include paid time off, health insurance, 401(k), and more.?Pay for this position starts at $19.00/hour plus commissions.

?Job responsibilities Include:

IT Support:

• Provide IT support to internal users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Monitor system performance and resolve server-related problems to ensure uptime and stability.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to systems and applications.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, patch management, and system backups.
• Respond to and prioritize help desk requests to resolve IT-related issues promptly.
• Train and support employees on new technology implementations and best practices.

Special IT Projects:

• Work with department leaders to identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency through technology.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors, programmers, and consultants to successfully complete IT-related projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for coordinating special IT projects, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
• Assist in developing and implementing automation strategies to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes.
• Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met while providing regular progress updates to management.
• Test and validate new systems, applications, and integrations before deployment to ensure they meet operational needs.
