Surgery Scheduler

Description

Responsibilities include acting as a partner with the Program Office to coordinate and organize assignments with physicians as well as patient treatment plans. The selected person will be scheduling day to day assignments for the physicians and nurses working in multiple hospitals/multiple facilities. This position also ensures documentation of all delivered care is complete. Computer skills are a must.

• Working in a fast-paced environment: 24/7 scheduling line.

• Responsible for scheduling 100's of patients daily

• Mass call volume: 200+ calls a day.

• Looking for a personality and desire; Someone who is dynamic, self-motivated, really understands the meaning of teamwork and is open to learning new things.

Requirements

• We seek a personable individual with excellent computer and clerical skills (Microsoft Office).

• You must type 60 WPM and have a high school diploma or GED.

• Medical secretary or secretarial certification is preferred-as is at least 1 year in a related administrative position in a medical setting.
