We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to optimize procurement and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset, with a proven track record in inventory management, vendor relations, and carrier performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, supply chain processes, and inventory management.

• Manage vendor consolidation to achieve economies of scale.

• Develop and implement planning strategies, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and S&OP.

• Create and report on Key Performance Indicators to track supply chain efficiency.

• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to process invoices on time.

• Monitor market trends and adjust strategies for supply chain improvement.

• Ensure compliance with ISO Qualified Supplier standards and procurement policies.

• Lead initiatives for excess stock management and product life cycles.

• Drive continuous improvement projects and maintain best practices in SOP.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION

Management - 15%

o Manage Procurement and Supply Chain processes.

o Responsible for the management of all inventories.

o Manage carrier performance program.

o Achieve desired economies of scale by consolidating vendors, suppliers, and resources.

o Create individual and departmental development plans.

o Develop planning group vision and recruit new personnel.

o Liaise with the Accounts Payable Department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business

with the supplier.

Sales & Operations Planning - 25%

o Develop and maintain a process for material forecasting

o Create and maintain the balance between supply and demand.

o Create, interpret, and report on Key Performance Indicators.

o Analyze and outline deviations from targets and plans (gap analyses).

o Provide input as to product enhancements and/or new product development.

Demand Planning - 15%

o Responsible for creating/maintaining demand plan review.

o Responsible for aligning the demand plan with the S&OP outcome.

o Challenge input from market intelligence in forecast demand.

o Monitor macro trends in supplier and contract base and implement plans to react.

o Oversee corporate reporting.

o Responsible for SKU classification in demand segmentation.

Supply Planning - 15%

o Meet service-level framework agreements with suppliers.

o Implement procurement strategy and policies.

o Ensure visibility of forward supply and inventory plan.

o Manage excess stock, and minimize write-offs.

o Maintenance of the ISO Qualified Supplier

Evaluation Program.

o Monitor capacity planning.

o Prepare purchase requisitions, and approve and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and

conditions.

o Manage phasing-in and phasing-out of products.

o Set long-term strategy based on consumption trends.

o Oversee the notice, registration, scheduling, and requests for the import of product portfolio.

Projects - 30%

o Initiate and roll out SOP best practices and manage SOP enhancement projects.

o Identify and agree upon supply chain improvement projects.

o Develop creative analytic reporting for forecasting and inventory management.

o Continually develop expertise to support growth for new projects.

o Assist in performing distribution optimization study.

o Develop inventory deployment capability.

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00
