  • Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Correlator.

    The hourly rate for this position is $17.00 per hour.

    What you'll do:

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

    In the Correlator role, you will process, count, and correlate all purchased parts in the relevant area. Utilize computer programs to include AS400, DMM, and Enovia to identify parts. Count inventory using the ABC method. Assist Planners, Buyers with accurate counts of items within the storeroom.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • You will correlate material by preforming Cycle Counts daily.

    • You will review and update the status of materials with Lead, Planners, Buyers, Supervisors, and Managers.

    • You will utilize the computer, including the utilization of Microsoft Office Tools, AS400, Enovia, and Turnback system to maintain control of materials.

    • You will process surplus, rejected, and/or defective material according to procedures.

    • You will operate a forklift and observe all safety requirements while utilizing a forklift.

    • You will problem solve inventory issues by counting, identifying, and labeling items.

    • You will review and update the status of inventory based on the ABC method.

    Qualifications:

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

    • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Greenwood facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum three (3) months of experience utilizing Eaton system controls including material management (DMM) and MRP/ERP (AS400)

    • Minimum three (3) months of manufacturing and/or material handling experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

    • Minimum three (3) months of experience operating a powered industrial vehicle (e.g., forklift)

    • South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent

    Skills:

    POSITION CRITERIA:

    Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within team environment. Willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs. Utilize various hand tools to assemble and verify quality in a Lean environment.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach at or above shoulder level; grip; and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to walk; stoop; lift; carry; push; pull; and grip. The employee is frequently required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to push/pull up to or greater than 50 pounds. The vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception and color discrimination. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to listen and to talk.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to noise and frequently exposed to dust.
