We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern Engineer for our Supplier Quality organization. This role will give you hands-on experience with chemical, electrical, and mechanical supplier commodities, offering you the chance to work on innovative solutions in a rapidly evolving global market.     What You Will Do

    • Improve supplier quality performance by analyzing performance data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and proposing actions for supplier development.

    • Assist cross-functional teams in pursuing performance improvements aligned with department and organizational goals.

    • Develop and enhance independent judgment methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of Supplier Quality standard work.

    • Gain experience working with aerospace manufactured products incorporating chemical, electrical, and mechanical commodities.

    Qualifications You Must Have

    • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

    What We Prefer

    • Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

    • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

    • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and communicate across different organizational levels.

    • Experience or coursework related to aerospace manufactured products.

    • Familiarity with supplier quality management and development processes.

    • Willingness to relocate if necessary.
